Konzert grand piano action

We have taken the action from our flagship concert grand model K280 and placed it in all of our smaller Schimmel Konzert grand models….a European way of putting the big engine in the smaller car. A longer key stick improves control and adds power and in our Konzert series having one action in all the models allows you to play and prepare on the same concert grand action regardless of the size instrument you choose.

Our commitment to advancing the limits of technology is evident in the 400 prototypes we constructed for the first grand piano of the Konzert line, or 600 variations of hammer-heads are tested in order that nothing is left to chance. We have a different view: as far as perfection is concerned, it is impossible to go too far. We see the development of outstanding instruments as a continuous and ongoing development process.
